Dorjee Netup Sherpa President, VEC
Dorjee Netup Sherpa has been president of VEC since 1999. He is a former trekking guide with Safe Journey Trekking Company, and has also led a trek for the taping of the BBC's "Extreme Dreams", directed by Ben Fogel. He and his family work continuously for the betterment of the Nepali Sherpas and all others who live in Helambu.

Beau Miller
Project Manager, VEC
Beau Miller has been organizing and managing campaigns and organizations since his graduation from Quinnipiac Univiersity in 2004. He became involved with VEC during his first trip to Nepal in March 2008, and has been fundraising and coordinating outreach activities ever since. He is a graduate student at Syracuse University, where he is working toward a Master's Degree in International Relations.

Ola Perczynska
Volunteer Coordinator, VEC
Ola Perczynska joined VEC in the beginning of 2009, shortly after she completed her Masters in Culture and Society in the Center for Social Studies in Warsaw, Poland. She coordinates VEC volunteers and organizes fund raising events both in Poland and Nepal.
